Use the new section/code references on challans and returns, the renamed forms, and update your templates — your rates, thresholds and due dates are largely unchanged.Operationally, from 1 April 2026 you should: quote Section 392/393 and the payment code on challans and statements; file the renamed Forms 138/140/144; issue Form 130 certificates; and accept Form 121 in place of 15G/15H.
The underlying rates, thresholds and due dates remain largely the same, so the change is mostly in references and forms. Update your vendor master, letter templates and accounting software masters with the new codes, and you are set.
